    • Description

At the National Museum of Scotland you’ll enter the world of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, better known as Bonnie Prince Charlie. The Stuart dynasty’s last hope in their quest to regain the three kingdoms of Scotland, England, and Ireland, Bonnie Prince Charlie’s tragically-fated campaign to regain the British throne has established him as a mainstay of Scottish folklore. Stuffed with over 300 artifacts, this new exhibition brings the world of the Jacobites to vivid life.

This brand new exhibition allows unprecedented insight into the world of the Royal House of Stuart. Discover how four kings became pawns in a much wider European political game, and follow the Jacobites’ fight to regain their lost kingdoms through five challenges to the throne.

With paintings, costumes, jewellery, documents, weapons, and glassware (including many objects never exhibited to the public before), you’ll be so engrossed by the drama you won’t notice how much you’re learning.

Don’t miss this chance to skip the line to discover who the Jacobites really were, and explore the contemporary relevance of this compelling story!
