Plan a fun day out at Fort Douglas with the kids and take part in the Easter-themed scavenger hunt. Collect your map in the Fort Douglas Easter activity area and search the adventure playground high and low to find the clues. Every little adventurer gets a chocolate treat for completing the hunt! Then join their bunny helpers and get creative decorating eggs to hang on the Fort Douglas Easter tree.

Contribute to a great cause while having a fun-filled day out! Take part in an Easter Treasure hunt at The Drum in aid of Drum Riding for the Disabled Association and receive an Easter egg surprise at the end! You also get the chance to enter a raffle to win a giant Easter Egg. Tickets are £7 per child. To add to the fun, there will be face painting, human showjumping, arts and crafts, tea and coffee, juice and delicious cake for sale. *Please also bring your own mug to help save the environment.

Pay a visit to Lauriston Castle for an Easter Trail with a chocolate surprise at the end. Bring your own hard-boiled egg to decorate and then race in their Egg and Spoon Race, or take part in egg rolling, with a prize for the egg that rolls the farthest. 

Alternatively make your own Easter Crown, flower or pinwheel and share online using our giant frame! You can even make a special Easter tile between 11am and 12pm. 

It’s free and there are drop-in events all day, but those who wish to give a little something can make a small donation.
